Duty of Care Card - Experienced Operators

An assessment-only process is available for operators who have been operating plant or have experience and require validation to meet WHS requirements.

The participant must be able to demonstrate that they have some experience.

Evidence of experience can include a record of workplace activities, logbook, 3rd party report or a signed declaration stating machine experience.

Note: Should the applicant sign a declaration stating their machine experience and the assessor deems that the applicant cannot demonstrate the required skills and requires training, the process will be stopped, and the applicant will have to attend the “Duty of Care Card - No Experience” session and pay the additional fee.

The assessment is face-to-face and includes both theory and practical components.
